Trinity Student Community

CrècheElizabeth Baker, Margaret Carrick and two future students.

Volunteers run a crèche for the children of our students. This service is offered for children up to four years of age for a small weekly contribution. The crèche is offered to enable spouses of Full-time students to access and audit one of the foundational units offered.

As numbers are limited due to space children must be registered prior to the start of semester.   To register your child please ask at reception for a registration form or for more details of the crèche email info@ttc.wa.edu.au

Mission Week

Broome Community 2008

Broome Team 2008Mission Week provides the opportunity for students and lecturers of Trinity to work with and encourage churches or Christian groups in 'doing' gospel work.  In 2009 teams from the college will experience intensive hands-on learning in the communities of Shark Bay, Geraldton, Wanneroo and Bull Creek.

They will be working with the Anglican congregations of Shark Bay, Geraldton and Wanneroo and the West Minster Presbyterian Church of Bull Creek to implement programs of outreach, teaching, and evangelism.

If your church is interested in working with Trinity in 2010 send your Expression of Interest to info@ttc.wa.edu.au before August 2009.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care Group - Open DialogueCommunity is an important part of life as a student at Trinity. Our Pastoral Care groups meet weekly from 1-2pm after lunch on Thursdays.

The groups give us an opportunity to support and encourage each other in our Christian lives, and especially to pray together. By meeting regularly, we develop confidence to share honestly with each other about our needs and struggles. This enables us to discuss issues together, and to pray in a focused way for each other. Anything shared in the groupPastoral Care Group - Scripture Reading is therefore regarded as confidential.

Each member of the group meets individually with the leader (one of our Lecturer’s) once per semester to discuss any issues that might not be appropriate to raise in the group.

Groups also meet socially each semester this often includes members of the students family to provide an opportunity to get to know a bit better those who feature in our prayers for that member of the group.

All Full-time students are allocated to a pastoral care group at the beginning of semester, Part-time students can be included in a group by speaking with the Dean of Students.
