Graduate Certificate of Divinity (AQF Level 8)

The Graduate Certificate of Divinity (GCertDivallows students who have completed a three-year undergraduate theological degree or a post-graduate theological degree to further their studies by taking four units in subjects of their choice.

Who is it for?

People involved in volunteer, part-time, or full-time ministry who have a prior theological degree (GradDipDivBTh or MDiv) and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills for ministry.

Course Structure

Any four units (comprising 48 credit points in all), determined by your individual study goals, and completed at Level 8 and above. You can see the list of units that Trinity offers here. 

Coursework Masters graduates in theology or ministry who achieved an overall GPA≥2.0 and who wish to progress to a higher degree by research (HDR), such as the Master of Theology (Research) degree, may undertake a Graduate Certificate of Divinity with an embedded Research Training Pathway (RTP).
