Classes run on Monday mornings during term time in 8-9 week blocks.
The three components of the program are:
Upon completion, students will be awarded a Certificate in Christian Ministry (Trinity Equip) by Trinity. Please note that this certificate program is not a course of the Australian University of Theology.
The cost per unit is $250.
There is also a $50 library membership fee that covers the two-year program.
Term 1: Teaching the Bible – The Epistles
How to read, understand and apply 1 Peter with a skill focus on preparing a Bible study.
Term 2: Gospel and Evangelism
Grasping the gospel with a skill focus on evangelism at both a personal and church organisation level.
Term 3: Systematic Theology
Understanding the big topics of the Bible and how they fit together with a skill focus on applying doctrines to understand a Bible passage.
Term 4: Introduction to Leadership
Establishing a biblical understanding of Christian leadership with a skill focus on leading people and teams for effective ministry.
Term 1: Teaching the Bible – Gospels
How to read, understand and apply Mark’s Gospel with a skill focus on 1-to-1 discipleship and evangelism.
Term 2: Biblical Theology – The Big Picture
Grasp the big story of the Bible and how it all fits together with a skill focus on understanding a passage in light of the whole Bible story.
Term 3: Teaching the Bible – Old Testament
How to read, understand and apply the Old Testament, focusing on narrative and prophecy.
Term 4: Introduction to Pastoral Care
Introduction to a biblical framework of Christian growth and discipleship with a skill focus on applying pastoral care in the day-to-day and in times of crisis.
