Equipping your

Church

Equipping God’s People for Gospel Ministry

At Trinity, we believe every local church is called to raise up disciples who are confident in God’s Word and equipped for gospel service.

Whether you’re nurturing new believers, training ministry leaders, or preparing workers for global missions, we want to partner with you in this ministry. Our vision is to equip your church to grow in knowledge and deepen ministry skills through biblically grounded programs in a supportive learning community.

Growing in Bible Knowledge

Growing in Bible knowledge is essential for every Christian – it helps us to deepen our relationship with God, grow in godliness, and proclaim the gospel.

Whatever your church’s goals are to deepen biblical understanding within your congregation, our aim is to support and partner with you. We provide a range of courses to help your church members grow in their knowledge of Scripture.

Equipping Volunteers to Serve

Strong biblical foundations are particularly important for church volunteers who serve in Word ministry.

Bible study leaders, youth leaders, kids’ church teachers, chaplains or elders in your church may wish to develop skills and frameworks that enable them to faithfully handle and teach Scripture.

Trinity can partner with you to deliver Bible training to your congregation members, particularly through our AUT accredited courses. They will be able to serve effectively by being confident in handling the Bible, having clarity about communicating the gospel, and being aware of what Christian service should look like.

Equipping Women for Volunteer Ministry

Women often volunteer many hours of service in our churches, playing vital roles in Bible studies, 1-to-1 discipleship, children’s ministry, pastoral care and leading ministry teams.
Trinity Equip is designed for women who are eager to grow in their ministry skills, but find it challenging to balance training with work, family, and church commitments. This two-year program is held on Monday mornings during school hours. Taught by women for women, each unit is grounded in Scripture and focused on practical ministry, developing both Bible-handling and ministry skills in a supportive environment.

Training for Vocational Ministry

As God raises up gospel workers in your church to serve in vocational ministry, our desire is to partner with you to equip them for Christian service.

We do this through our rigorous AUT-accredited Bachelor and Master degrees, which aim to provide essential biblical knowledge and theological frameworks. The gospel community of students and staff also helps to shape their character and spiritual formation as they prepare for a life of ministry.

Many churches partner with Trinity by sending interns and apprentices to study with us part-time at the beginning of their course, while forming them in practical ministry. Through this, we can support you in building a ministry training pipeline specially catered to your church.

Preparing for Global Missions

We provide students with a clear gospel lens through which they can confidently engage in the world of missions, by contextualising scriptural proclamation and discipling those from other cultures and religions.
Our established relationships with mission organisations provide regular opportunities for students to meet and talk with different mission organisations and experienced missionaries.

Further Ministry Development

If you are currently serving in ministry, Trinity provides several opportunities for further ministry development where you can sharpen your theology, engage with current ideas, or study further in your field of ministry.

We can partner with you in a variety of ways to develop your biblical, theological, and ministry knowledge and skills.

  • Formal part-time study: Further course-based and research-based study with expert supervision for research in your area of interest.
  • Training events: Events like Ministry Matters to further deepen theological reflection and ministry practice. These are also opportunities to connect with fellow gospel workers across Perth and WA.
  • Informal classes: From time to time, we have New Testament Greek reading groups where you can continue to sharpen your handling of the Scriptures.
  • Ministry opportunities: We can help promote ministry roles you are seeking to fill to our students.

Whatever your ministry and wherever you are serving, our desire is to walk alongside you. Our faculty members are available for encouragement and counsel in your service of the Lord and his gospel.
