You can enjoy the following services at the Trinity Library:

Library Catalogue
All library resources can be searched in our online Library Catalogue, WorldCat Discovery. WorldCat is the world’s largest network of library-based content and services. Languages other than English may be chosen to search the catalogue. A guide on how to search WorldCat is available under Guides.

Inter-library Loans
Inter-library loans with other libraries in Australia are available upon request, please email. This is a free service to all Trinity research degree students, and comes at a small cost to others.

Use of Libraries Australia Document Delivery service is preferable. Other enquiries and direct requests from ANZTLA libraries can be emailed.  The fee per item for inter library loan and/or document delivery is $16.50 plus postage if applicable.

All currently enrolled students and Library members have borrowing rights of books, DVDs and CDs.

The normal borrowing period is two weeks, with renewal availability:

– Full-time students: 15 items

– Part-time students: 5 items per unit

– TTC Alumni, [email protected] and External members: 5 items

  • The borrowing period for all postgraduate course students is 4 weeks:

– Full-time and part-time students: 15 items

Overdue charges apply and accumulate at 50¢ a day. These charges begin accruing after an overdue email notification has been sent.
An additional long overdue charge accrues after 2 months.

Copying and Printing
Black and white copying and printing (10¢ per page) is available. Scanning is available free of charge. A reminder that all copying is subject to legal copyright restrictions, please read carefully the notices for Published Works.

Email Alerts
Please check your emails regularly for friendly email alerts to remind you of due dates, overdue, hold pick-ups for reserve books or recalls when books are requested by another user.

Group Study Room
Group Study Room (seats up to 10) can be booked with library staff in the Library or by emailing us.
