AQF 5 Diploma of Theology (Tuesday evening course structure)

The Diploma of Theology (DipTh) as run on Tuesday evenings will benefit any Christian who seeks to read and understand the Bible correctly and share the Gospel effectively. This course provides a solid foundation in God’s Word while equipping you for practical ministry in everyday life, church and other ministries.

Where will it take me? 

Completion of the Diploma of Theology will enable you to serve effectively through being clear about the Gospel, confident in the Bible, and more aware of what Christian service should look like. You will also be equipped with frameworks on how to approach serving in different ministries and how to handle current ethical challenges from a Christian perspective.

This course is equivalent to a one-year full-time course and is available on a part-time basis on Tuesday evenings. Students have up to 8 years to complete this course. On completion of the Diploma of Theology, eligible students can progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Theology with full credit.

Christianity in History

  • CHXXX Christianity in History Overview unit
Theology

  • BB002 Introduction to Biblical Theology and Interpretation
  • TH005 Foundational Christian Beliefs

Ministry and Missions

  • PCXXX Foundations of Ministry unit
