This demanding research doctorate offers candidates the opportunity to extend their knowledge and understanding whilst making a significant contribution to a specific field of theological endeavour.
This 288 credit point accredited degree is aimed at eligible candidates who desire to teach and/or conduct research in a theological college or university. Typically they would benefit from a disciplined approach to further learning in their ministry.
It requires the completion of a thesis of 80,000 – 100,000 words. Studies may be undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis and provision may be made for suspension and extension of candidature.
