Lecturer in New Testament

Dan served as a youth pastor and assistant minister for six years in Anglican churches before completing a PhD at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. At Trinity (in Perth!) he teaches New Testament Greek and the books of Romans, 1 Corinthians, Hebrews, 1 Peter.

His research interests include the New Testament Use of the Old Testament, Paul’s mission, New Testament ethics, and Greek grammar. He has recently published Isaiah’s Servant in Paul in the WUNT2 series and is currently working on a book on Greek grammar.

Dan is married to Emily, and they have three teenage kids who love board games. Dan is passionate about helping people grow in their trust in Christ by seeing him in the Scriptures.
