Lecturer in New Testament
BE (Hons), BD (Hons), PhD

Dan teaches how to read and teach New Testament books at Trinity. This means that he teaches Greek to the first-year students, and the books of Romans, 1 Corinthians, Hebrews, 1 Peter, and occasionally John—all in both Greek and English. His research interests are in the New Testament Use of the Old Testament, Paul’s mission, New Testament ethics, and Greek grammar. He has recently published Isaiah’s Servant in Paul in the WUNT2 series. Dan loves to help people grow in their trust in Christ by seeing him in all the Scriptures.

Before coming to Trinity, Dan served as a youth pastor and assistant minister for 6 years in Anglican churches over east.

Dan is married to Emily, and they have three teenage kids.
