Principal
Don West served in church leadership for 14 years before pivoting to equip others for this and related roles. He started at Trinity as a lecturer and was appointed Principal in 2003 — a role which continues to make him depend upon and praise God for his immeasurable mercies in Christ. He counts time with students and graduates a great privilege.
He currently teaches the book of Psalms, expository preaching, pastoral care, and Christian leadership, and his ongoing research interests include the nature of biblical prayer and biblical theology for preaching.
Don is married to Athena, and they have three married children and nine grandchildren. As well as enjoying their family, Athena and Don love getting out of Perth on camping holidays and bushwalking.
