Lecturer in Missions
Mike is married to Fiona and they have four children. They have recently returned from serving in SE Asia for 14 years with Pioneers. During their time there, Mike worked as a church-planter to Muslims before taking on the role of Area Leader. In this role he was involved in mobilising, pastoral care, and networking to see the gospel go to the most remote places in the area.
Mike is passionate about journeying with and preparing people so that they can be effective cross-cultural ambassadors for the gospel, whether that is in Australia or overseas. He teaches mission subjects which include the areas of cultural intelligence and cross-cultural communication.
Mike completed his PhD through Biola University in California, where his dissertation focused on understanding generational challenges to ministry.
