“When my father was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer whilst I was at uni in the UK, I had to evaluate what I really did believe about the Christianity I was brought up with. It was clear to me that it is real and therefore I needed to do something about it. I had been a school teacher for a while but upon the recommendation of a friend, my wife and I came to Perth to work for a church, and subsequently where I studied at Trinity. I found that Trinity does exactly what it says it does; equips the head, heart and hands. The size of the College meant that I got to know the other students and lecturers really well, so much so that 6 years on we still meet up a couple of times a year to pray and encourage each other. The lecturers’ depth of understanding and godliness had a huge impact on my life and my own godliness and although the process won’t be complete until the next life, the strong foundations were laid. The training I received prepared me to have the confidence to take the Bible into a variety of ministries, for which I am extremely grateful. For the past 10 years I have been in the local church, and am currently making disciples through school groups and holiday camps to help school students know Jesus.”

Ed Surrey (MDiv)

Our accredited courses give you a thorough biblical, historical and theological framework for communicating the gospel faithfully, as well as appropriate skills for a range of ministry positions.

These courses provide the ability to articulate the gospel and teach God’s Word at an intermediate level.

Your suitability for a specific course will depend on your educational background, faith journey, and study goals. After successful completion of your 3-Year course, eligible students can progress to the relevant graduate course with full credit.

As an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology, Trinity Theological College is approved to deliver the following courses of the ACT (CRICOS 02650E). This means your qualification will be internationally recognised. It also means that FEE-HELP is available to eligible students. Details of the ACT Units we offer at Trinity are listed here.

YOUR STUDENT EXPERIENCE

At Trinity Theological College, we welcome, teach and support students from a range of denominations, cultures, and countries who, like us, pray that all people might “know the only true God and Jesus Christ.”

We believe enrolling as a full-time student is the surest way of laying ministry foundations that will last. Your education will take place in a community of prayer, fellowship, and service with staff and peers. Face-to-face classes, easy access to your lecturers, the library, and study desks will help you reach your academic goals.

But studying at Trinity is about more than just obtaining an academic qualification.  We seek to foster a loving, worshipful community where we are all spurred on in faith. Free time in the student lounge, weekly community lunches, chapel services, Pastoral Care Groups, and doing missions together give you the opportunity to build life-long relationships and great support networks.
